
Spaghetti Bolognese Complete Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 pound spaghetti
Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions:
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces with a spoon as it cooks.
- Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, basil, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper to the pot. Stir to combine.
- Bring the sauce to a simmer and reduce the heat to low. Let the sauce cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- While the sauce is cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the spaghetti and add it to the pot with the sauce. Toss the spaghetti with the sauce until it is well coated.
- Serve the spaghetti bolognese hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
